Our Story - VIKRANT GROUP

Founded in 1985, Vikrant Group emerged from the entrepreneurial vision, perseverance, and commitment to quality of its founders, Mr Bhupinder Bansal and Mr Pramod Singhal, who began their business journey in Punjab. The company initially started with the trading of tractors and motorcycles, marking its entry into the commercial sector. This early success soon paved the way for expansion into the steel industry, leading to the establishment of Ghaziabad Iron and Steel Company, a steel rolling mill in Ghaziabad.

Although the venture faced early challenges and eventually closed in 1989, the experience became a defining turning point for the group. With limited capital but unwavering determination, the founders shifted their focus to steel distribution – a strategic move that transformed the company’s future. Over time, Vikrant Group forged strong partnerships with leading steel producers such as Tata Steel and the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), strengthening its presence in the market.

Through consistent effort and a commitment to excellence, the group expanded its distribution network across Western Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, and Eastern Uttar Pradesh. Today, Vikrant Group stands as a trusted name in the steel industry, supported by a robust network of over 300 dealers and 400 institutional customers. Its success continues to be built on the pillars of trust, reliability, quality, and exceptional service.
