Our Milestones

1985

Founders Mr. Bhupinder Bansal and Mr. Pramod Singhal established their first steel rolling mill under the name Ghaziabad Iron & Steel Co., manufacturing TOR steel and catering to Eastern Uttar Pradesh.

1989

After major losses, the rolling mill was shut down. With just ₹50,000 and strong determination, they restarted operations. Their goodwill led SAIL to appoint them as MOU holders.

1990

Expanded business by selling structures, plates, HR coils, wire rods, GP coils, and beams from SAIL Agra. Began selling rolled plates to Jindal Steel Hisar, classified into different grades for forging units.

1994

Mr. Rajat Bansal joined the business and diversified operations by setting up a shearing facility in Ghaziabad, enhancing service quality.

1996

Established a state-of-the-art shearing facility in Ghaziabad. Vikrant Group became an official service provider for Elgedrat’s HR Coil Division.

1997

Started selling billets manufactured by Tata Steel Ltd. across North India with an annual volume of 45,000 tonnes.

2001

Tata Steel launched its distribution model, appointing Vikrant Group as the leading distributor for Western UP and UK. Began selling TMT bars along with SAIL structures and plates.

2003

Expanded with Tata Shaktee distribution for Western UP. Established Vikrant Iron Pvt. Ltd. to further strengthen business operations.

2023

Now an authorized distributor of Tata Steel in Western UP and UK, dealing with 11 Tata Steel brands. Our journey continues with innovation, trust, and excellence.
